MCAT Test Dates for Singapore Candidates
May 29 – September 12, 2020
As announced on 24 April, 2020, the Association of American Medical Colleges, AAMC, will be temporarily shortening the MCAT exam from 7 hours 30 minutes to 5 hours and 45 minutes. This will ONLY be applicable for test dates from May 29, 2020 to the end of the 2020 testing year. Do take note that 15 May, 2020 and 16 May, 2020 test dates are cancelled.
Registration on AAMC’s MCAT Registration System portal will open on May 7, 2020 for the updated MCAT Testing Calendar. Check AAMC’s website regularly for further updates should circumstances change.

Scoring & Test Format
There will be no changes in the MCAT scoring. Candidates will be receiving 5 sectional scores from the shortened version of the exam and one combined total score.
Candidates will be tested on content from all four sections of the exam and are still required to know the same concepts and skills that are tested on the full-length exam (7 hours 30 minutes). Based on the AAMC, the exam will not be easier or harder than the full-length exam.
